THE CHALLENGE

Eversafe Fire Protection required the installation of a 135,000L LPCB approved sprinkler tank to supply domestic and commercial sprinkler systems.
They specified that the tank must meet the latest LPCB certification, LPS 1276 Issue 2.0, which Tricel Weston proudly holds.
Additionally, Eversafe noted that the tank would be located in a plant room with a central column.
As a result, the sprinkler system needed to be split into two tanks of equal volume.
Although Eversafe has the expertise to handle regular sprinkler tank needs, they turned to Tricel Weston for support.

Due to the hazardous effects of fire, fire protection systems must meet strict standards, including LPS1276 Issue 2.0.
The effectiveness of sprinkler systems depends on proper design, installation, and maintenance.
According to LPS 1048-1, which outlines requirements for sprinkler contractors in the UK and Ireland, installers must be able to design, install, and maintain sprinkler systems.

Eversafe Fire Protection has previously worked with Tricel Weston on several projects. They knew we could help with any challenges, such as fitting a large water tank into a smaller space.
Once we received the enquiry, we collaborated with Eversafe to find the right solution, staying within budget and on time.
Due to the column in the center of the plant room, we recommended two LPCB approved sprinkler tanks from Tricel Weston. Each tank measured 12.5m x 3.5m x 2m.
This solution allowed us to distribute the total volume between two tanks, ensuring they fit the plant room and met all clearance requirements.
