THE CHALLENGE

deeside college

The client requested a water tank to operate with a fire sprinkler system.

A sprinkler system supplies continuous water at the correct pressure, which is then distributed through a piping network.

Additionally, the project required an LPCB approved tank installation to meet strict safety standards.

This certification guarantees the tank has been thoroughly tested for performance and reliability.

As a result, it ensures a constant water supply at the necessary pressure, fully complying with fire protection regulations.

TRICEL SOLUTION

We completed an LPCB approved tank installation at Deeside College, also known as Coleg Cambria, in North East Wales.

Our team manufactured, delivered, offloaded, and installed a 6.00m x 3.00m x 2.50m high LPCB approved sectional water tank.

This large college serves over 7,000 full-time and 20,000 part-time students.

As a result, a reliable fire protection water tank was essential. The installed tank provides a total nominal capacity of 45,000 litres.

Thanks to efficient planning, the LPCB approved tank installation was completed smoothly and on schedule.

THE FINAL RESULT

We successfully completed an LPCB approved tank installation at Deeside College, also known as Coleg Cambria, in North East Wales.

Our team installed a sectional water tank with a 45,000-litre capacity to support the fire sprinkler system.

Since the project took place during the holiday period, we needed to finish before students returned to avoid disruption.

Additionally, we secured fire protection approval ahead of the 2016 term.

We delivered the sectional water tank on January 6th, and by January 11th, our crew had fully installed it on-site.

Finally, you can find all LPCB-approved products and companies listed in the official ‘Red Book.’
