THE CHALLENGE
Enhancing Fire Safety
Our client Firmdale Hotels needed a replacement sprinkler tank for the Ham Yard Hotel in London. The Hotel had an existing sprinker tank that was now past its lifespan therefore a new modern GRP tank was needed to suit their firefighting purposes.
TRICEL SOLUTION
As this is an active hotel situated in the heart of London with thousands of visitors each year, the project needed to be done in a timely manner. The internally flanged base tank had to hold 16,000 litres nominal capacity. This would deliver 12,000 litres of usable water for the hotel’s firefighting system.
THE FINAL RESULT
Our Team provided Firmdale Hotels with a hot-press moulded sprinkler tank with the dimensions 4x2x2m allowing a sufficient amount of water to be readily available for fire emergencies. The initial timeframe was met from order to full implementation.
