The History of Dewey Waters
Founding and Early Years – Dewey Waters was established in North Somerset and initially focused on producing GRP motorbike fairings. Over the years, the company diversified its product range to include water storage tanks, housings, and biofilters. This transition marked the beginning of Dewey Waters’ journey into the GRP industry.
Acquisition and Growth – In 1999, Dewey Waters was acquired by the Tricel Group, a global engineering company. This acquisition enabled Dewey Waters to expand its operations and product offerings, leveraging Tricel’s extensive resources and expertise. Since then, Dewey Waters has continued to grow, serving both domestic and international markets with a comprehensive range of GRP products. In 2024, Dewey Waters rebranded to Tricel Weston. As of July 1st, 2024 Dewey Waters and Nicholson Plastics water storage teams became one. One team, one vision under the Tricel brand.
