Water misting tanks supply water to misting systems enabling them to stop the spread of fires by eliminating two elements that cause a fire to spread: oxygen and heat. A water misting system uses a water spray which when actioned in a fire control, suppresses and extinguishes the fire by cooling both the flame and surrounding gases by evaporation. They are an ideal solution to aid in fire prevention systems and would generally be installed with smoke alarms or fire detection systems.

How Do Water Misting Systems Work?
Water misting systems work by vaporising water droplets to a size that can quickly evaporate. The water inside the tank is forced through at a high pressure through the nozzles to create a mist that absorbs the heat and cools the surrounding air as it evaporates.
