THE Challenge
Balancing Luxury and Necessity
Forest Holidays, a luxury log cabin getaway holiday park operating across multiple UK locations, requested a replacement water storage tank for their luxury holiday park, as the tank required upgrading during peak season. The primary concern was minimizing disruptions to holidaymakers while completing the necessary work.
TRICEL SOLUTION
To address this challenge, the task involved replacing the existing water storage tank with a more efficient and reliable solution. Given the remote location of the park, delivery and installation needed to occur on the same day. The installation was meticulously scheduled for early morning to minimize disturbances for guests and staff. Coordinating the delivery and installation concurrently was crucial to avoid delays.
Our logistics team organised a tail lift truck from the courier which enabled the crew to offload the sectional water tank once delivery and then immediately commence installation. The entire install of a 4x4x2 meter tank with a capacity of 32,000 litres from delivery to installation, took the team a day to construct and connect to the holiday village. The new water tank was WRAS approved to supply the holiday homes with wholesome potable drinking water.
THE FINAL RESULT
Our main objective of upgrading the water tank as quickly and efficiently as possible was a success, the holiday homes experienced minimal impact on their water supply during this changeover. Our Client now has a more reliable supply, significant cost savings on maintenance and no problems with pressure when occupancy rates are at their highest during peak periods over the summer months.
