The city water tank was installed in an alcove archway under the pavement in London city centre. The pavement above the water tank is used daily by pedestrians.
There was limited space for the water tank, but the hotel needed to maximise its water storage capacity. This meant that a HLU TIF tank was the preferred solution as it would allow our expert site crew to assemble the water tank against three walls, as access for a TIF tank is only needed on one side.

The existing water tank, located on the roof of a housing unit in Edinburgh, required replacement with a new tank of similar dimensions. With no other available space on site, we had to ensure the new city water tank would fit within the tight area. Our skilled crew efficiently installed the 1,770-litre TIF tank, leaving a 500mm gap above it to allow for easy maintenance access.
Despite the project’s complexity, our experienced team successfully met the client’s needs by installing the tank in the confined space. To achieve this, we carefully brought up all panels and connections through a narrow access hatch.
