FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS TO GLOBAL REACH

Order of Innisfallen Award, Tricel Founders

Tricel’s story began in 1973, when Con and Anne Stack established the company in Killarney as a small family-run enterprise focused on fibreglass products.

Initially serving local markets, the company quickly developed a reputation for quality and reliability. Over the decades, Tricel evolved from a modest operation into a multinational group, driven by innovation and a commitment to excellence.

Today, Tricel operates across multiple European countries, with manufacturing facilities in Ireland, the UK, France and the Nordics, supported by a distribution network spanning the globe.

Headquartered in Killarney, the engineering group supplies four key markets:

  • Water — storage and pumps
  • Environmental — wastewater and stormwater
  • Construction — meter boxes and safety products
  • Distribution — composites and lubricants

Tricel serves more than 50 countries, combining proven GRP manufacturing with certified products and end-to-end service.

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY AND GROWTH

Alongside the growth of the business, Con and Anne have continued to support the community in which Tricel began.

They have championed local employment, supported community initiatives and contributed to Killarney’s economic development.

Their leadership has helped position Tricel as a trusted name in environmental and construction solutions while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility to the region that supported the company from its beginnings.

The Order of Innisfallen recognises this combination of entrepreneurship, leadership and commitment to the local community
