WATER MISTING SYSTEMS

Overview

Tricel offers a comprehensive range of water storage solutions, including specialized tanks for water misting systems.

A misting system provides an advanced fire suppression solution by addressing two key elements of fire: oxygen and heat. These systems use a fine water spray to suppress and extinguish fires by cooling flames and surrounding gases through evaporation. They are an essential addition to modern fire protection setups, often integrated with smoke alarms or fire detection systems.

How Does a Water Misting System Work?

Water misting systems operate by atomising water droplets into a fine mist, which rapidly evaporates to absorb heat and cool the surrounding environment. The water stored in the tank is pressurised and dispersed through nozzles to create this mist. This process not only suppresses flames but also reduces the temperature of the air and surrounding materials.
